Old Time, Old School, Jamaican               Independence Street Dance
To Raise Funds For Education in Jamaica and South Florida.

Kingston College Old Boys Florida Inc., and St. Andrew Technical High School Alumni Inc., under The Distinguished Patronage of the Consul General of Jamaica, Mr. Ricardo Allicock, present an ³Old Time Jamaican Independence Street Dance² on Saturday, August 2, 2003, as part of the celebration of Jamaica¹s 41st Independence anniversary.

This fund-raising event takes place at the courtyard and street at 14735 NW 25th Court (Caricom Freight Consolidators) Opa Locka, from 5.00 p.m. until morning. It will be an evening of Œnuff love, niceness, and good times¹ featuring disco music in tribute to Jamaica¹s independence played by DJs Yoyo, Fern, and Everton.

As part of a community outreach, the Mayor of Opa Locka, Ms. Myra L. Taylor, will be Special Guest for a program including live cultural presentations featuring a variety of local talent, as well as delicious Jamaican and other ethnic foods and drinks. Participants are assured of complete enjoyment, including a gate prize and spot prizes, in an atmosphere of total security.

Tickets are $10.00 each. Proceeds benefit the Kingston College and St. Andrew Technical Development funds and to fund scholarships in Opa Locka.
